Stu Katzen
Adaptability and innovation in a changing events world have been the hallmark of Stuart's ethos and events career, enabling him to be a leader and at the forefront of the events industry in Australia.
Having operated incentives & events domestically and around the world, Stuart is a veteran of the events & incentives industry.
Stuart began his career as an actor/performer in New York. He has worked both in front of and behind the camera.
As a consummate storyteller, Stuart’s passion is creating & delivering immersive stories.

I was an actor at the time, working in a costume hire shop and got drafted by a client into dressing performers at their event. I was bored and decided to see what the event was all about - dressed in costume of course!
Wandering the event, I was spotted by the event photographer who grabbed me as a prop for guests photos.
I had been in 100’s of photos when I looked up to see the person who hired me for my costumes, sternly looking at this and beckoning me over.
I was positive I was in trouble, fired or about to be shot, instead he offered me a job!
From there is was a short hop to event design & production and then events and as they say “the rest is history”!

I believe there is not enough laughter and smiling in the world.
My purpose is to deliver that. To create incredible experiences that move people and make them smile.
To leave people smiling after the event is over with the sheer joy and shared expereince of it.

Designing and creating amazing alternate realities for people. Giving them the permission to immerse themselves.
Spaces where people have the ability and permission to dance, laugh, smile and enjoy organically.

I’m really lucky. I have many!
One of my favourite events was 240 people arrriving at a closed & darkened warehouse. There was no-one there and the group were led inside the empty unlit warehouse.
As the guests watched, the event literally built itself up around them. Including food & bars, AV, styling and furniture. All brought on by crew and placed, as the guests watched in awe. Then the event began!
So much fun!
Jasper Vallance
Jasper’s creative event journey spans Burning Man and founding Xstatic Sunsets, delivering Australia’s largest sober dance parties.
As a purpose coach and consultant, he unites these worlds to design immersive events that bond people through fun, movement, authentic connection and meaning.
Jasper brings his passion for bringing people together to experience joy and connection to company events. Driven by his purpose to support people's mental health and help people achieve their potential.

I fell into my passion for organising parties when I moved to Australia from the UK 25 years ago as my Birthday in October became the first part of summer! Over the years, my Birthday parties got bigger and more creative.
But it was taking the leap from corporate life at Google, which freed me up to go on an adventure to discover Burning Man in Australia, that took my party organising to the next level. A vision for a sunset party theme camp came to life with friends the next year and became the destination where 1000’s gathered to enjoy sunset over the years.
I then connected with a deeper purpose to run alcohol and drug-free events to support people’s mental health, seeing the extent of the dependency and addiction problem in Australia. Founding the social enterprise Xstatic Sunsets, delivering themed parties to inspire costuming, which gives permission for everyone to play, let loose and dance. The concept worked a treat, leading me to deliver the largest sober dance parties and festivals in Australia.

My purpose is to support people’s mental health and help them thrive in life.
Alongside the wellness events, I have created a ‘Discover Your Purpose Course’ to help people on their path to purpose and fulfilment. This has expanded to include offerings that support companies and employees on their paths to purpose and making a difference.

In this hybrid working world, events are a golden opportunity to bring staff together, connect, and build culture.
My purpose is reflected in immersiv8, as a guide that helps companies bring their purpose to life through creative event experiences that energise and engage their people.

Bringing Alice’s Wonderland to life at Sydney Town Hall has to be my most audacious creation. Funded by the City Of Sydney and the NSW Government to re-activate the CBD post-COVID, we transformed the town hall into another world where people of all ages dressed up and went down the rabbit hole to connect and dance the night away.
